  • Operation Christmas Child

The goal for Christmas 2019 is to pack 500 shoeboxes! They are going to collect items through the year. Each month will be something different. In October there will be a church wide packing party! It will be in the bulletin what items they are collecting and tote's will be available for you to place your items in. If you prefer, you may still pack boxes on your own. Let's help spread the love of Jesus Christ to as many children and families around the world as we can.

Collecting in January: Hats, gloves & scarves for both boys and girls

  • Church Cancellation Policy

When Somerset Area School District cancels classes or has an early dismissal due to bad weather, then all church ministries are cancelled for that day and evening.

  • ESL (English As A Second Language)

God has brought the world to our doorstep! Every city & town in the US is experiencing an influx of people from all around the world. In Somerset County 4% of the population speaks a non-English language. Through an ESL Ministry we can reach the nations (Matthew 28:19-20) by loving our neighbor (Luke 10:27). If you would like to be a part of this ministry, enroll in this class on Feb. 8 from 6:30-9:30 pm (light meal at 5:45) and Feb. 9 from 8:15 am-5:30 pm in Adult Classroom 1. The cost is $65 with online registration due by Feb. 3. Sign up at the Connection Center. Contact Denise Howard with any questions.

Brokenness grasps for the soul of humanity. We are broken body, soul, and spirit, and we need the healing touch of Jesus. Soul Care explores seven principles that are profound healing tools of God; securing your identity, repentance, breaking family sin patterns, forgiving others, healing wounds, overcoming fears and deliverance.

  • Cultural Perspective Workshop

    6:40-8:10 pm

    Adult Classroom 2

Are you going on a missions trip? Do you plan to travel overseas? Do you work or have regular contact with people of different cultures? Do you have neighbors from a different country and you would like to better relate to them? Are you simply interested in other cultures? If so, come join us as we explore ways to relate and interact with people of other cultures and maybe even learn something about our own culture! Our first "Cultural Perspectives Workshop" will be lead by our International Worker in residence.
